The last month has been a busy one for ADP, with a number of our clients unveiling their new buildings, opening their doors, and launching new facilities. One of these facilities is Oaksey House, in Lambourn, built for registered charity, The Injured Jockeys Fund. Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal, who is an enthusiastic patron of the Fund’s work, officially opened the building on 21st September this year.
ADP’s unique £3m landmark development is a joint rehabilitation and residential centre for both retired and active jockeys, as well as the local racing workforce. Facilities include a fully equipped gymnasium and state-of-the-art physiotherapy provision, as well as 12 new residential care homes.
Her Royal Highness praised the centre, commenting “Oaksey House sets an example that very few other sports have been able to achieve. It is a step forward in every respect, and people are going to learn from this for all other sports."
